Milena Govich

 

Milena Govich (Serbian born on October 29, 1976) is an American actor as well as a director, singer as well as a dancer famous for her role as NYPD Detective Nina Cassady on the television series Law & Order.



 



 Education and early life



 Govich was born in Norman, Cleveland County, Oklahoma. The late Dr. Bruce Michael Govich (who died in the year 1998) and Dr. Marilyn Green Govich [2was a professor of music. Marilyn teaches voice at University of Central Oklahoma, while Bruce was employed at the University of Oklahoma. Her mother is English and Scottish and her father is Serbian. Milica Govich, her aunt, is also an actor and has appeared on Broadway and on television and in films.



 



 Milena graduated from Norman High School in 1995 as the class valedictorian. Her academic parents influenced her by graduating from the University of Central Oklahoma, having graduated valedictorian once more. two degrees in performance and medical pre-medical studies. She also received a minor in violin and dance. After her graduation, Govich moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting.
